Here’s a piece of advice for that genius friend of yours: maybe the poor soul that comes along to give her $20k for the privilege of watching her get fat and wrinkly could put the money towards the downpayment on a house. Or her kids’ education.

Not for her, ’cause you can’t fit a house or kids on her ring finger. It’s unfortunate, I know.

So get a huge cubic zirconia, practice “I don’t really like talking about how much it cost” in the mirror, and invest the freaking money. Really tying up $20k in a rock is just stupid, unless you’re trying to hide money from the IRS.

I didn’t just say that of course.
