  2. Asian, German, Spanish, Timbuktuian….

    get over it.

  3. The stereotypes do suck. If you’re an Asian male you’re a gangster or martial arts hero. If you’re a woman you’re a masseuse or a masseuse with knowledge in some martial arts… sigh. Still it is my belief that the only group of Asians who will ever make it big in Hollywood are the actresses.

  4. Yue… If I’m not mistaken I think we’ve seen you do an impression of your mother a time or two. Good stuff.

Good thing actors/comedians like Don Rickles, Sammy Davis Jr. and Eddie Murphy weren’t hung up on these sort of issues or their careers would have never been.

Use your assets and leave the uptight crap for people that work in offices and politics.

I think you’re more talented than realize.

  6. Loren,

I have challenged you to be criticized. This video is for you: http://youtube.com/watch?v=xJBLVphMMvA

    Mad Chider

  7. Mad Chider, criticize anything you want. Your whole concept is just stupid bro, sorry I just cant participate in something so shitty.

By Loren Feldman on Jan 13, 2008

  8. The Mad Chider is boring and his videos are nearly unwatchable.

It’s more entertaining to criticize HIM than watch him.

  9. Yue, totally understand where you’re coming from on this one. Before even getting into accent stereotypes though, I have a problem with the word ‘Asian’ itself. What the hell does it mean? Similarly, what does ‘Western’ mean? Tired of these old constructs, can’t we move on?

As for the auditions, well I’d tell them to go f*** themselves and I’d seriously think about moving back to Beijing. That’s where the money and opportunities are. The American dream is dead, long live the Chinese dream!

  10. Andrew you need a spend a little more time on the shores of reality pal.

By Tiga Beck on Jan 13, 2008

  11. Yeah you’re right Tiga, wait a minute which reality are you talking about?

By AndrewE on Jan 13, 2008

  12. Still, those full lips would look good wrapped around some sausage

By Jacko on Jan 13, 2008

  13. That pretty much says it all Andrew.

By Tiga Beck on Jan 13, 2008

  14. Mad Chider, you using Seesmic? Can’t hear the vid bro.

By Everett on Jan 13, 2008

  15. That’s okay, Yue… the stereotypes abound.

I’m a white guy that teaches Kung Fu, and one of my lily-white training partners spent three years in Taiwan… teaching Kung Fu to Taiwanese.

By Ike on Jan 14, 2008

  16. It’s pretty useful to fake an accent at times though. If you don’t want to deal with telemarketers, jury duty, or plain ‘ol jackasses, you can always say ‘No speak engrish’

By Rodfather on Jan 14, 2008

  17. I can’t wait for the next exciting episode:

“People who assume Yue is great at math.”

By Ike on Jan 14, 2008

  18. Your accent is so strong in this entire video that I couldn’t understand a word. What was it about?

    ;)

  19. Yue, you are simply the best.
