In response to the need for affordable housing, The Actors Fund and Common Ground Community have joined forces to develop this unique, 217-unit residence for single adults in the heart of downtown Brooklyn. Half of the building will target individuals affiliated with the performing arts & entertainment industry, and half will house formerly homeless individuals living with HIV/AIDS or mental health needs.

So let me see if I have this right…One half of the building is for artists, and the other half is for sick and crazy people. My question is, how exactly will they differentiate these two demographics?

Maybe they need a third wing: Actors portraying HIV+ and homeless people. That would allow Tom Hanks and Sean Penn to take up residence there. They could vists Mickey Rourke…he’d be on the crazy side, not the acting side.
