I found this from copyblogger.

  2. Yeah, that was a cool post from Chris. If we’re having fun with all this social media stuff, great. If not, why bother?

  3. Great find Brian, beautiful post by the old dude.

  4. What’s important for me is live my life to the fullest without stepping into anyone…

What’s important for me is my family: my wife, my son, my daughter.

What’s important for me are friends… true friends.

  6. The pensive pose, the schmaltzy violins, the chiaroscuro lighting–I thought you were getting ready to show me the ring.

  7. Whats important to you Vincent -besides me I mean.

  8. I couldn’t believe this 93 year-old man was a Canadian. I thought they all drank themselves to death before then.

He’s giving sex advice at his age, so I think I’ll follow his philosophy, Loren. I’m setting up shop as a sex therapist.

  9. Don’t be afraid of intimacy Vince, answer the question. What is important to you?

By Loren Feldman on Jan 28, 2007

  10. I thought I answered the question.

Alright, I’ll play your game. I don’t have any kids known to me, so having two godchildren has helped me learn how to deal with whiny, demanding people–give in.

This knowledge is very important and useful to me. Are you satisfied now?

  11. Yes I am, we now can go back to our regularly scheduled programming.

  12. O.K. There seemed to be a disconnect between the serious, thoughtful subject matter, and the satirical presentation.

I think the old man Don has a beautiful philosophy, too, and if I get old with half his grace (if I live so long), I’ll count my life a success.

And it’s true that having two godsons has taught me what’s really important in this life, and that the most valuable things don’t have a price.

  13. I like to disconnect sometimes, no need to talk about it or it ruins it.

Look at you, you sound all gay and stuff.

  14. You tricked me.

  15. that was good. Really, makes you step back and think what are the things that matter…not all the race for success and mascarade..but life experiences that make a difference for people you love and for people you care about or strangers you help that become life long friends…we should always take a minite and realize how lucky we are, having health, life, family, friends and things we love to do.

  16. I tried explaining this to an A-lister a while back: you gonna be in your deathbed wishing you blogged more, or think about friends and family.

He had no answer. Made me think that the poor bastard has no friends.
