  2. Tell me that ain’t the best dumb Southerner you can do.;-)

    Back in ancient times, one of my friends from Rockaway Beach got his idea of the way Southerners talk from reading Al Capp’s comic strip Li’l Abner.

    I tried to tell him that white people in the South don’t say ax instead of ask, but he believed what he saw in the comic strip rather than what his own ears would indicate.

    Too many bloggers are the same way with the name “brands” they follow in their feed readers.
