I beat Stephan to this one.

I gotta say that a short and sweet testimonial like this is far more effective with me than maybe half the commercials on TV for new services.

Now we just need the VR goggles or whatever so you don’t have to get a stiff neck and an eye twitch trying to watch TV on your phone. This is definitely going to be something big, but I don’t think it will catch on until they sort out the display problems. A hand-held LCD is just not a suitable device for viewing video, or pictures for that matter.

With my psychic talent for writing posts at the same time as others, I was thinking, “I better hurry, or Stephan will beat me.”

I see it was close. Nyaaa.;-)

    Jvon,

Its so clear screen size doesnt matter really, i thought it would but it didn’t bother me at all.

Set-up for Vince to say- “Size Matters”

Huh. Because I have a video ipod and I can’t stand watching video on it. When they came out I made a joke about starting a company called “iPorn” that would put out adult content for them, but I don’t see it happening.

is this one of those things where we are going to end up paying to watch an episode of the simpsons or are we going to be able to pay in subscriptions like regular cable?

You do, eh? Well there’s one customer. It’s handy on a trip, that’s about the only use I’ve found for it.

Sorry, bros, but who needs to watch porn when your own life is one long (pun intended) porn movie?

    Amateurs.

And Loren, whether or not size matters depends on what I’m doing.

This is broadcast? It’s not on demand?

    If so, yawn.

I agree with jvon that the screen size issue is deadly. I too never watch my video ipod. I rip DVD’s and watch them on my powerbook all the time when I’m travelling.
