    8. @dick, @loren:

Dudes… Hate to give you y’all a sophomore-year-algebra-class flashback, but I’m going to ask you two to show your math on that one.

I could *maybe* see going as high as even-money, 50%.

I could even bump it up to the mid-50-percent range if Loren stretched first.

Look… There are four bedrooms in that place, and it’s not like it’s Hef’s mansion. This dilutes the ratio when you add bedrooms.

      But 87.4%?

      And, more improbably, 93.5%?

I haven’t seen math *that* bad since people started worshipping Technorati rankings!

    9. Listen Gomes, I might not be a math genius or anything, but I’m telling you high 80’s at least. I’ve lost a little weight lately showing my hip bones a bit more. Seeing Calacanis next week. 100%

for all you know Loren invited a couple of PR bloggers up to the house.

The master does not need math Gomes because he werks his shit like Kasparov

(btw) who the fuck is this Michael Arrington character?

    11. *crunching the numbers*

      *satellites linking in orbit*

*supercomputers at NORAD, Lawrence Livermore National Labs, and JPL firing up*

      *12 dyspeptic chickens with abacuses*

      Okay…

First, there’s the weight loss. This brings the numbers up, yes, but with the hip bones showing, we run the risk of having the Christian-Bale-in-”The Machinist” look. As much as the ladies love Christian Bale, you gotta admit his percentage crashed between “American Psycho” and “The Machinist”. (Though he did pick it up a little for “Batman Begins”, one might argue.)

      Second, there’s this:

      http://twitter.com/1938media/statuses/782658154

Unfortunately, the “being naked” variable is *completely* negated by the “being cold” variable, for reasons I probably shouldn’t discuss here. Zero sum game, there.

Third, you *do* get some boost from the fact that Atherton is fairly close to two CalTrain stations, meaning high potential coming in from highly populated areas to the north and south — San Francisco and San Jose, respectively. This brings the potential-per-square-meter up, even for a place like Atherton.

The satellites, NORAD, LLNL, JPL, and the dyspeptic chickens with abacuses say: 79.45%

Im telling you it’s a bit higher but Im not going to argue with you. Whatever dude 79.45%, joke.

      yer killin me Gomes.

look here - if you have a milkshake and Loren has a milkshake - and Loren has a straw.

      You listening Gomes?!?

And Lorens straw reaches acrooooooooooooooooooooooss the room, and starts to drink your milkshake….

    15. Loren,

Were you just kissing Arrington’s ass? I guess he is the guy right now. I remember a year ago you were kissing Scoble’s ass. Bring back the scathing stuff. Or the Ze Frank impression. I miss it.
