This Is Funny

So I’m reading Howard Lindzon this morning. He produces WallStrip some financial video show. They goof hard on Cramer on the show today. He also tears Jim Cramer a new ass on his blog.

“Let’s face it, America loves Cramer. BooYUTZ! Let’s not lie, he is brave and shameless. I just posted over on my blog how that creates Celebrity in this Web 2.0 world. Add Cramer to that list. I could not, would not go there. I am happy to give up what he has gotten. Queen’s Public Acces - BIG DEAL!”

Harsh.

Then I go over to Fred Wilson’s blog, he’s an investor in WallStrip, he is also was one of the original TheStreet.com investors. His tone was slightly different.

“Wallstrip is a fan of Jim Cramer and they showed their appreciation for him and his Mad Money show with this roast.”

So I happen to be a member of the Friar’s Club, the guys who invented the roast. I know roasts. Roasts are done with love from friends. Lindzon’s tone doesn’t sound like he’s a friend, and Fred sounds like he’s a diplomat doing damage control.
