I had the chance to say hello to Hugh MacLeod of Gaping Void. Very interesting guy. We talked about love. I like him as does much of the web. What I didn’t know was how he felt about me. See, the problem is some people just don’t like me.

I think I’m going to cry.
Now that you two have had your mutual admiration society moment–is this the love you were talking about?
I feel betrayed. This is nothing to the love that you and I once had.;-)
ReplyYou left me remember.
ReplyHe raises some interesting points. I get crap from people sometimes because I’ve been operating a small consulting business for 8 years now, and it’s still small. So what? I haven’t been sued, I’m still in business — and I don’t fuck people over to make money.
Sometimes I wish I could land some bigger higher paying clients (had them, they’re usually a pain in the ass), but he’s right. Somebody has to help out the little guys.
Wish more people had that attitude.

ReplyHugh sounds pretty well lit in this clip. Was he saying this sober?
ReplyYou’d have to ask him.
ReplyHe did sound like he’d knocked a couple back.
ReplyGreat to meet you this weekend, Loren… all the best to you and your lovely lady!
ReplyLoren, but we don’t want anymore Web 2.0. You need to move on from that. You boozed him up! That was way too mush, too mushy.
Reply1938 Media Video Tribute…
I’ve gotten a kick out of Loren Feldman’s videos at 1938 Media for a while now, so when I picked up a new video camera as an impulse purchase earlier today, I had no choice but to do my best……
