Useful! I use zong for my web app (allow users to post from their phone, and use a simple script to decode the RSS feed that Zong provides) and it works great. I am glad that they have removed the Pay application (now part of the API) as I am sure my content would be worth anything!

Zong is really awesome for developers. That’s where they really shine.

If you have content people want, you can make money with advertising. Ask Arrington. He would make less if he switched over to Zong. The service has a strong future in amateur porn though.

I think I remember on That Zong post you did that you also couldn’t comment or read the comments here without paying. I’m not sure, but it might be better if everyone were at least able to read the comments without paying. If the comments are interesting it might actually encourage more people to pay to watch. Just a thought.

Congrats, Loren. By Zong working out for you, it shows that people will pay for quality content they can afford. Obviously, that’s a giant step forward for content producers. Good things to come for all. Keep up the good work, bro.

Selfishly, I hope you do more. I want to give it a whirl on that iPhone I intend to score this summer.

    “Christ I miss my hair.”

Screw you man. I’m your reality now. You’ll bow down and worship me or I’ll shrivel up like your nut sack and frown at every cute girl who throws a sunshine smile your way. Does the word Klingon mean anything to you?

    You’ve been warned.

No, I didn’t want to dick around with my cell phone. I wanted to just pay on PayPal. For like a monthly subscription or something. Come on, make it easy for dummies. Not everybody wants to bill shit on their cell phones.
