    January 19, 2008 – 4:50 pm

My dear friend Mike Arrington celebrated last night that people actually believe all this bullshit.

    2. The bar / after party was supposed to open at 9.00 PM, so I made sure I got up there at 9.00 PM exact.

    3. the only even worse scenario i could think of is a nobel prize category for web20 and streaming the ceremonies exclusively via seesmic

    4. I haven’t figured out yet what Zazzle is beyond what CafePress has been for a long time. I’ll check back later; I’m going to go plow my driveway with a shovel.

    5. i have to disagree on one thing : netvibes !
this is a french company (like dailymotion), and their technology is WAY ahead of virtual desktop competition, for one simple reason : they’ve been in business for 4 years and it’s not all about ajax, it’s about features.

One exclusive feature they have is the possibility to develop rss feeds directly from WITHIN your netvibes page, and this is awesome, because you don’t need to leave the page and play with your browsers tabs.

Personnaly, i never visit your site, i view your videos directly from netvibes’ page.

    9. The awards were for Arringtons friends:

Gabe, Tariq, Evan, Zuckerberg etc The only surprise was that Loic didn’t get an award - best pre-alpha starup and Scoble for best cry-baby - they closed my Facebook account.

    11. What’s even worse is that MC Hammer was there, no doubt looking to be a winner in next year’s startup crop for DanceJam…now there’s a site I’d like to hear Loren review!

    16. Since the topic is total bullshit that no one cares about except maybe the winners (and I’m not quite sure they wanted to win… not all), let’s talk about something funny… Why do you look like a Smurf at the beginning of the video ? It’s like a mix of the Grouchy Smurf and Brainy Smurf but in purple… please more costumes, at least that is funny :P
