Tell Me I’m Wrong With A Straight Face
December 17, 2007 – 2:23 pmGo ahead and tell me I’m wrong about Seesmic. This is what you have to look forward to. Watch this crap and then tell me I’m wrong. Can a “Pre-Alpha” go into the dead-pool?

Is he doing that from the Parisian Space Shuttle?
By Jim Turner on Dec 17, 2007
You’re wrong.
It was compelling, pithy, well-shot, well-lit, articulate, informed, engaging, philosophical, community-driven, calculated, well-timed, well-written, affordable, interesting, arresting, haunting and generally well worth my time.
I really don’t know where you’re coming from on this one old pal…

Always the warrior poet, you guys are the only ones I cant win against. Love you Brucey.

Translation:
“I’m reporting deep from within Loic Lemeur’s anus. It’s dark and poorly lit and I can’t get a clear video.”

I do effects like that on purpose, and have the YouTube videos to prove it.
I think he has his computer speakers feedbacking close to the mic, for that space shuttle effect which I trademarked and copyrighted and DRM’d and shit.

I don’t think any of the ’special’ effects were done on purpose– it certainly wasn’t artful.
This was to video as David Foster Wallace’s writing is to literature, except that I don’t think he was so self-deluded as to believe he was creating art.
I’ve never seen so many irony-proof French.

that stupid embedded seesmic video does not work. those french idiots.
By dirtyharry on Dec 17, 2007
Hi,
i am french and i think this video is stupid.
i find you, Loren, hilarious: you rock!
cheers,
anne
ps: @all the french people who got offended with loren’s video > you take yourselves too seriously…
By anne on Dec 17, 2007
I don’t think they’ve done irony since 1989.
Like anyone could take charges of racism from a French guy seriously is a joke.
By Jecklin on Dec 17, 2007
well well. So you think you are more intelligent and more… what ? american ? ok ! you are just the 3% of all the world who thinks amricans are intelligent. So you are stupid. It’s mathematical boy : you are just an asshole stupid and poor longsome american boy. You know Lucky luke ? no ? oh so dommage….
By Vanch' on Dec 17, 2007
Someone tossing around challenges to another’s intelligence ought to come to the table with at least one coherent sentence, yes?

Loren,
You are AWESOME and I wish someone like you were running for President. I’m tired of all this bloated bullshit in the tech industry - bravo for you for speaking your mind!

Is a video supposed to show in that window? I can’t see a damn thing.
By Rob Safuto on Dec 17, 2007
That video won’t load for me as well. Either seesmic is banning all Americans in retaliation, or I think you just killed seesmic servers by embedding this video on your much more popular site. 1938Media effect anyone?
By Avi on Dec 17, 2007
So classic that the video is not working. They’re censoring, or the service is down? I wonder, anyone? I’m guessing the service is down, because censoring content isn’t a good way to launch a company based on communication and opinions.
Loren, every time I think you’re done, you pull me back in.
