Techcrunch Has The Audacity To Want More Interns

Techcrunch needs an intern. It’s insane that these dopes have the audacity to look for an intern. What kid in their right fucking minds would want to intern at techcrunch? What sane parent would let them? Look at how well it’s worked out for Daniel Brusilovsky. Maybe not the best example considering this guy is filthy dirty and corrupt already. Although I guess if you are interested in strong arming people who are smarter than you, and actually trying to do something, this would be the place for you.

In my opinion, Techcrunch is not a good, safe, productive environment for any kid looking to do good in the world. Period.

Arrington is the new Julia Allison. Posting at 4 AM, then taking them down when he sees how insane it looks the next morning.

Honestly, if I were 17, after all that has come out about this story, I would love to be an intern! I would ask for a gold watch or try and score a date with one of those cute valley girls.

  • Loren

Its so not cool. How can they really ask for more interns? The place is a total disaster.

As a professional tech journal that has major impact on startups success or failure it is a total disaster. However, you have to admit that if you were a 17 year who just wanted a free laptop, its the best place to go.

  • Loren

Agreed for free laptops Techcrunch would be a good choice. Learning something? Not so much.

    Education is so overated! :-P

Well that is true to form is it not..when called on something cancel, delete, etc..but never ever admit a wrong or learn from admitting a wrong..maybe Mikey wants to be DaveWiner 2.0

I would want to be an intern, but for all the wrong reasons. I would be an intern from hell.  I’d start off normal and then begin to harass Arrington by demanding details about his stalker, who doesn’t exist.  Then I’d start creating the news that appears on TechCrunch by getting people to do annoying things to him like dumping buckets of baby powder on him as he walks through the street.

You want to be on Techcrunch?  Easy. When you see Arrington in a restaurant, go up to him and dump a bucket of water on him.  There’s a 99% chance he’ll blog about it.  “Someone dumped a bucket of water on me in a restaurant” would be the post title, so predictable.  He’d be a monkey on chain.

i actually thought about interning there, but now that i know i’m not about to go and jump the shark. i can’t believe how wrapped in their own ego’s or bubble, some of the people who work there are. they think people are stupid and they keep hoping no one will wake up and smell the coffee. it’s fun to obsereve the mele.

i actually thought it was a joke, because some of us were joking in the crunchgate posts that we would like to intern at tech crunch, but i think now that people are realizing that not everything is kosher there, that some real behind the story shit is going down there. i’m still thinking of your last post on the pay for post series of events and i think you basically just scratched the surface.

didn’t he say he didn’t “delete” daniel’s posts…and he said something about the readers being idiots but that’s typical.

Hiring interns is a great way to avoid paying people who do actual work wages. Maybe Daniel need to be creative so he could earn some cash.
