I know the true point of SXSW for most of you is to get drunk and hide from your life under the guise of doing some sort of actual work, I don’t have that luxury, and I like my life. I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels this way, and while I enjoy a nice cocktail as much as the next guy, the point is to change the status quo. At least that’s the point for me. We are at a really unique time in history. Content, Distribution, Advertising, PR, all these things are changing, and rather than sit around and get drunk and talk about it, my team wants to help shape it.
With these thoughts in mind, if you are of like mind and need straight talk and some help with all of this nonsense and what it means for your company, we want to meet with you.

As SXSW comes up I wanted to take a moment and warn you all about being a public drunkard. It’s so not cool. No one cares about your really cool site or idea if you are a drunk retard. Even if you are considered successful I promise you most people are looking at you in disgust. They might not say anything, but they are thinking it. I know lot’s of drunks in this business, and truthfully I could give a shit less, I think it’s funny. I mean look at Scoble, Scoble gets dead drunk at these things, usually throws up and then gropes someone other than his wife. This happens like clockwork at these conferences. Is it funny? You betcha it is, but do you really want to be that guy? Happy well adjusted people are not alcoholics. Miserable sad broken people are alcoholics. A lot of people come to SXSW, and unlike your website where you can bullshit people, this is real life and a drunk is a drunk is a drunk. That’s the take away you will give people if you act like that. I mean who the fuck wants to do business with a drunk. We all have had to at one point, remember that nightmare? So that’s my two cents. I know that you have no control over yourself, and you are miserable and unhappy in your personal or business life, but that’s no reason to ruin SXSW for the rest of us.
