She’s your mother: of course she’ll pick you if money is not an issue.

In that pic, Loic looks like he’s from a Bond movie and you look like you’re from a Harold & Kumar movie.

    Best,
    Dave

P.S. Your Mom’s really funny. You should let her guest host your show when you’re on the road or busy building puppets.

Even before reading the comments, I though mother looks a lot like Michelle. That’s cool, though.

Cool mom for sure, as far as looking like future michelle, perhaps a little. I’ve heard before that men tend to marry ladies that remind them of their mothers. I think I did, although I had to get a red hot just to spice it up a bit more.

FOA, Your Mom is awesome, needless to say.

Regarding looks, as you point out, adult men are judged by their net worth far more than by anything else, thus looks can almost be considered irrelevant. Quite the opposite is true for women.
No wonder we see the world so differently.

As you know I a huge evangelist for Loic, but I’m also a huge evangelist for you. In both cases, totally based on personality and intelligence. Looks/money…they don’t even enter into it.

BTW not that it matters, but Sean Percival is quite good looking. At least based on his website. (impertinant comment, sorry)

John McCain’s decision to select a vice presidential running mate that endorsed Pat Buchanan for president in 2000 is a direct affront to all Jewish Americans. Pat Buchanan is a Nazi sympathizer with a uniquely atrocious record on Israel, even going as far as to denounce bringing former Nazi soldiers to justice and praising Adolf Hilter for his ‘great courage.’

    Feldman…: still republican?

The Democrat party’s decision to pick a candidate who consorts with not one, but two racist religious leaders (Wright and Farrakhan) is something that’s actually more offensive to the Jewish people. Both have expressed extremely racist sentiment much more recently than your allegations about Buchanon.

Remember that endorsement is from 2000, I imagine had very little to do with race, while Obama’s associations are very very recent, and had everything to do with race.

I know we’re venturing off into dangerous territory here, Loic, but you started it.

The truth is that this is a trumped up issue you either heard from some wannabe political hack, or came up with yourself just now. Either way, it’s not very well thought out and just indicates an unwillingness by you and others like you to accept a Republican under any circumstance.

Or, I suppose, I could take a tried and true liberal tactic and call you sexist - you’re making all this up to cover for the fact you don’t want a woman vice-president.

Now seriously, of course I am better looking.

I just realized that there were multiple “loics” on this thread, so if this isn’t “the real Loic,” I meant no offense to him. Just responding to the issue, rather than the person.

Mark “Rizzn” Hopkins, you seem to talk like you’re very smart and you know lots about politics, calling some people “wannabees” in politics or insinuating they are ignorant etc.
However if you were not a wannabee in politics yourself, you’d know that a woman, a man, a 4 y o or an ET as vice president will not make ANY difference in citizen’s every day lives, just as Obama or McCain will not make much difference. The reason is on serious matters like economics, finance, monetary policy, foreign policy etc, the people you see and you vote for do not make the decisions. This is a fact for everybody with a minimum knowledge in politics and this is just the nature of modern politics.

So please spare us with these endless and pointless talks like “ooh a woman as vice prez, good or bad, oh republican vs. democrats or mccain/obama etc” and also stop calling other people wannabees when yourself you don’t seem to know more than what you heard from TV, which is by the way pretty deceiving from a “Internet guy”. Just keep this in mind: “the enemy of knowledge is not ignorance but the illusion of knowledge.”

“spare us these endless and pointless talks…”

Nahh, I think I’ll keep it up. I’m not a wannabe, I’m guessing I’m the only one between the two of us that’s been employed and highly compensated for his political punditry and political consulting services before.

If you think our elected officials don’t affect our lives, I’m curious as to why you even bother to rebut me, since it obviously doesn’t matter.

…Loren, just because (unlike some) you can find your ass with two hands and a flashlight (so I’ve been led to believe…) doesn’t mean it’s the best in the room… :-p and of course Ellen picked you… you’re her little meshugener…but that’s why we listen… A little off center…not so bad…lol
