Thanks so much to all my friends at Mahalo and Mahalo Daily. Their professionalism and good vibes made this a very special day for me. Mr. Meltzer is a wonderful man, and I would like to thank him for taking the time. When in LA please visit him, and tell him Shel sent ya.

Keep up the puppeteering. The tech industry needs someone to poke fun at them. Too serious really. Mr. Meltzer puts on a great show. I’d love to see him sometime. If I’m ever in Santa Monica I’ll have to check him out.
ReplyThat’s an expo on puppetry… I was captivated. Puppetry = evil ? Never!
ReplyFabulous piece - and a nice surprise.
ReplyThat was really wonderful. Meltzer’s vibe is definitely from another era. I felt like I was a kid again watching Gene London, very entertained and just a tiny bit uncomfortable.
Replyha!!! that was brilliant! thanks for that!
I always wondered what happened to Ted Danson! ;p
Reply“That’s the way to do it!”
I liked the Oscar Wilde quote, even though he was completely wrong about puppets: they do argue, they do have crude views about art, and they do have private lives.
Punch and Judy is the real theater of cruelty.
ReplyIt’s the ability to animate the seemingly impossible that blows me away with master puppeteers. Great video Loren. Can tell you had a blast at that museum.
ReplyAndrew,
It was an honor to be there with Steve. I was in awe of his talent.
ReplyI love the puppets!Great video.
ReplyLoved this one. Upbeat and funny.
ReplyDude, you’re a New Yorker. Stop dressing like your fucking Jack Hanna.
ReplyAlso, I’m 99% sure you’re wearing women’s glasses. Nice.
ReplyPaul,
It’s my look. The glasses are for girls. Lindsay or Paris hooked me up with them, can’t recall exactly. Nice girls.
ReplyIt was a great video. If the real Shel had just put out something as good as this, it would have have been a million times more effective to rebut you, Loren, than all the moaning and whining.
ReplyGreat work. I want to scare my children with whiteboard puppets, seriously.
ReplyThis was badass
ReplyWhen do you shoot puppetry of the penis for them?
ReplyLove it.
So much respect for guys like Meltzer.
ReplyReally wonderful. I think we need a social network for puppeteers and puppet enthusiasts.
ReplyBEST video in the puppet series yet. That was just awesome.
ReplyLoved it. Definitely one of your best.
ReplyLoren, I think this is your best work. Funny, entertaining, and yet informative without having anyone feel like they were in school.
