Nobody is worse than Scoble. Definitely not a video guy.

Here is my review:

I linked you up… I keep going back to what you said, “its about entertainment” - and you know Cramer said the same thing last night!
Damn, your video review rocks.

Matt: I actually agree with you which is why I usually aim my camera away from me and toward my interviewee, not toward my own face.
By Robert Scoble on Jul 26, 2007
You may be referring to Peter Lorre in Casablanca http://imdb.com/name/nm0000048/

Look at yourself Loren.
Your clips are barely ever over 2 minutes, you’re lying around on a couch or your bed, often with your shirt off but still you manage to do a much better job than Om. While I don’t know much about what goes on behind the seen on your vidcast, Loren versus Om just proves that some people have it (you) and others just don’t (Om), and that its not about money.
They probably spent bucketloads on production, got in top-notch guests, have Rev3 on their site, got Dugg, and all that is good. And I don’t mean to knock Om, he seems like a decent enough guy, but a vidcaster? Hell no! Quite frankly there were parts where Om seemed uninterested and just plain bored. He would probably do better producing the show than being in it.
Will I still watch the show? Probably. Would it be much better without him? Based on the first episode I can say yes.
I think Wired pretty much hit it spot on:

Of all the tech shows I have ever seen, this is one that could kill the genre. I’m certain that if you look up “sucks” in Websters, this show will be featured as the number one definition. Ugh, Why do it?

You know when I go and look at these things the sites themselves are never nearly as amusing as your reviews of them. I’m not even gonna look.

Om is so horrible it’s pathetic. Stick to blogs Om and not video.. Video is hard face it and you have no juice

OK I looked at it. Boring. Next!
By jvon on Jul 28, 2007
Yes, looks like this period will be a footnote in net media of all those that came from writing(blogging) and talking (podcasting) failing in net video. Similar to those who couldn’t make it from silent to sound film in the late 1920’s and early 1930’s.

where can I see the video? Pod Techs responce to the break up is boring… and very old news

Don - you can still see it here, in all of its glory:

And now we can add Xeni Jardin & Mark Frauenfelder to the list of non-video people above.
