  6. The fact that most of these web 2.0 douchebags will never make any money on any of it while they continuously solicit the wisdom of the crowd while Steve Jobs does the polar opposite and completely IGNORES the crowd and has a wildly successful company seems to escape all these “ask the community everything” idiots.

    Have a vision.

    Follow the vision.

Fuck everyone that doesn’t like it.

    Case closed.

In the end, you’re responsible for your future, not some fucktard on Twitter or Digg.

  7. the web 2.0 “community” thing was a scam from the start. it is about influence. “community” douchebag types fell for it, and so are forever lost in shitty mediocrity, quick to put down like a pack of pygmy monkeys anyone who didn’t play along. the truth is the crowd was lapping up whoever it was that started this whole community thing to begin with.

on another note: who knew babies smelled so good.

  8. The attributions “visionary” and “innovator” are bandied about way too much these days but he’s the real deal. The unabashed love for Jobs is earned.

I’m going to sound like my mother here [dear god]: his detractors are just jealous.

  9. You should be the web 2.0 dictator that decides which startups live and die.

    too funny.

  10. Is Loic the next Jobs ?

He won’t be listening to folk who trash his project.

Ah yes, so he won’t be listening to you.

  11. Impressive conference, although I was not particularly excited when I saw the MB Air.

It’s cool, thin and sexy, ya, but not really useful if you need to work on it. The actual MB is much more powerful and costs much much less.

One USB port, no Ethernet, no CD/DVD, the HD of an iPod. It’s not the best choice if you move a lot and you need your laptop to be flexibe (although they say it is designed for a mobile life).

I’d say it’s just a fancy product for geeks to show off at conferences and on the plane.

On the other hand, great update for the iPhone and Apple TV.
