  3. Maybe I’m crazy, but I’m not all that bothered about the iPhone. It looks nice, and I like visual voicemail, but that’s it. Nothing else about the iPhone impresses me.

    I treat my K750i like crap and it has withstood everything. I just don’t think the iPhone would be able to cope with the same treatment. Plus that screen is begging for fingerprints and scratches.

  5. I think it will be absolutely nuts for the first couple weeks and then it will die down and everyone will wonder what the big deal was. It’s like opening weekend of a blockbuster movie with no legs.

    I waited in line for an hour and a half to get in to see “Independence Day” once. You remember anything about that movie? Will Smith, aliens, that’s about it. If it came on cable I’d shut it off.

    That’s the iphone. Whole lotta hype, nothing to back it up. Apple lucked out with the ipod because they invented something (more-or-less) new. But we’ve got phones. Lots of phones.
