  2. That’s the thing: facebook is for non-geeks. If you have a site, a twitter, a whatever… for every other outlet you have, facebook is that much less useful.

  5. Is anyone else totally burnt out on all this shit?

My blog hasnt had a new post for about 10 months now. Of course, thats my own fault. But I was covering shit Im totally burnt out on.

I think I could have LOVED facebook. Im serious, if that facebook hype hit a year sooner I would have been totally addicted to that thing. But now Im just too burnt out to really work it.

Twitter is another thing I barely use. I see the value, I know how it works, and I love the idea…but I don’t really CARE, because Im burnt out.

  7. Shit, I just came across your name on Facebook and sent you a friend request THEN I came here and saw the video you just posted.

That’ll teach me … ALWAYS visit 1938 Media FIRST.

Keep up the good work Loren, you rock.

  8. Darn, and I was just going to see if you wanted to play Scrabble.

Went back to check out Twitter and you have some interesting tips there. I can see how it can be more useful now.

Probably of little interest to you, but the ORG seems to have shut down. I am glad I found this site there before it did.

Now to check out Dailymotion, thanks for that tip as well.

  9. I agree with you, but don’t you think that if Facebook grows and grows and grows that in the long run it will be a mistake not to be there? I hate social media sites too, but I don’t make a living by vlogging and making videos for other people. Just my 6 cents.

  10. I agree. It solves no problems for me, and according to many blog posts and research with my college niece… it’s all about socializing.

I don’t want to socialize in that way. Boring.
