The roll-up of 1938 Media into the TechCrunch network nears completion. (at the end of the day it’s going to be a healthy move… it’s all about the advertising network.) Tell me I’m on to something here…
I always hated seeing your site down because Dreamhost couldn’t take the traffic flocking to your site.
I played around with MediaTemple, and while I agree their customer service is unparalleled, I found the ping times to be less than satisfactory from the east coast. I tried their GridServer and DV hosting plans.
Not sure when you’re going to be back in NYC but let us know what you think of your hosting once you’ve seen the ping times then, and I’m curious to know what hosting service you chose with them.
Either way, once again, mazel tov on the move. You definitely needed it.
