I’m A Human Not A Puppet Damnit
April 9, 2008 – 3:23 amI really like flickr video. Short to the point.
UPDATE: I was wrong. and Arrington went insane that I didn’t link to his original post where he broke the story with the first video in the system.

Are you sure not to shout one day because of these 90 seconds. You know that’s 1 minute and a half?!
Anyway I agree.

Well, since the “average normal people” are talentless by nature (according to you), I guess photos are way enough… but if they wanna pay for something they’d get free elsewhere, why would you blame them ?
Anyways, the service looks nice. Thanks for reviewing it.

Hey Loren, I like Flickr video and the 90 sec limit. This service will hurt Seesmic.

I think the 90 sec limit will mean the format is embraced.
I don’t want to watch 9min long vids with some tired hack holding a mic out while some uncomfortable introvert struggles with words.
Keep it short. Keep it interesting. Content is king.

Aren’t you worried that Flickr Video, which is a Yahoo company, will treat it’s users the same way they treated you?

I don’t think you spoke about this yet. What are your thoughts on what happened here?
By Gregg on Apr 9, 2008
Gregg. I cannot speak about that at this time.

The end of the second video was perfect.
By Tyler on Apr 9, 2008
Flickr needs an international CDN for their videos. The video is not viewable internationally.
By Nir on Apr 9, 2008
Agreed, Tyler. The end of the second video is great. Keep up the great content, Loren.

Arrington rules.
Case closed.

You and Arrington should seriously think about moving in together permanently. You’d give the Three Stooges a run for their money. Arrington, Feldman and Shel Puppet… nice!

I’m officially pro-Arrington now. The man wears a watch with his pajamas.

Why are you such a jerk?
By YouAreAJerk on Apr 9, 2008
What kind of goob says “Gee You Eye”. You’re such a 1980’s throwback Feldman.

Loren.
Wonderful.
This stuff is verging on genius.
You couldn’t script a line where MA picks up the puppet as a kind of ‘to camera’ response to your ‘analysis’ comment.
Pissed myself laughing.
That’s where strange creative forces are at work. And you have the confidence to ride ‘em instead of write ‘em.
Hysterical.
But.
Maybe you should let Shel off the hook now.
You made your absolutely pertinent and rightful point; bigtime.
But it would be such a bummer if your creative/humorous/entertaining/needed to be said response turned into bullying.
Move on.
Job done.
More fun.
