   Hmmm…I like the way the videos look, too. But did a test run today and the processing, and then, the loading of the video seemed slow to me compared with youtube.

   That said, the sound and the look is ALOT better.

   Veoh does look pretty good. I agree with what you have to say about the site and the overall experience — very clean and easy.

   It seems to me though, at this point, they look to me like more of a Brightcove competitor than YouTube. Not because of similarity in product / service / size so much, but more so just in the basic “personality” of their offering.

   I’d be interested in how you think their compression is better. I get about the same quality of your videos across the different services you’ve used.

   Not really sure Mark, have had people tell me they prefer the veoh stuff. I’m no flash expert for sure. Maybe monitors and resolutions have something to do with it?

   Veoh is great. We’ll see if they are able to keep up that level of quality as their traffic increases.

   The only time I bother with YouTube is if I’m searching for some specific bit of video — it’s more likely to be on there than Veoh.

   Man, I want to like Veoh, but for some reason I’m having embed issues. I’m sure it is on my end, but still frustrating.

   I’ll try putting both up on my blog and see what happens.
