This is HILARIOUS. I had the same problem cancelling my “free” FreeCreditReport.com account. I called THREE times. Each time, they told me they had no record of a previous cancellation attempt. With each attempt, they tried to sell me additional services. So, this is how it went: 1) Cancel account & decline offers, 2) Can’t login to account, so assumed it was cancelled, 3) Wait one month, only to find recurring charge. Repeat two more times.

That’s right, a total of THREE FUCKING MONTHS to cancel a FreeCreditReport.com account, at something like $20/mo.
