  4. Every morning the first thing I do is clean my laptop using the appropriate cleaning tool/item for the appropriate part of the computer.

    I guess this balances out with Hug Macleod’s approach and helps keep the world spinning safely on it’s axis.

  7. I once had something stuck under the “D” key of my first ThinkPad. I had to really hammer the thing to get it to work until I was finally able to fix it by some combination of fishing it out and grinding it down with use. At the time, I joked that, if you took the “D” out of “Edelman”, you ended up with “eelman”, which sounds like a direct-to-video Roger Corman opus, perhaps starring Adrienne Barbeau.
