An old pal and I tossed the ball around for the first time this season. We talked football flicks.

    Loren,

Here’s a question people haven’t asked, I suspect because the usual detractors don’t care a jot about your personal health, as I and legions of XX Chromosomal Units here in the Czech lands do (which you’ll see when you and the Best Gal swing through on your retrospective trip to Hungary!): since you smoke as much as you do — not a criticism, just an observation from watching your dailies — do you find your ability to maintain cardio stamina harder, or…? I mean, tossing ’round the pigskin ain’t no big shakes, but I was curious…you were puffing out a bit there towards the end, and it looks like you had to exit stage left to get some R&R after a few tosses.

    Attentively,
    –ADM

watching you and your pal toss the ball reminds me of watching my son John and Bobby toss the ball in the yard during those great summer days in the 60s. You’re a real human being Loren. What can’t you do.
