  2. Dude, that’s right on the money. You got it going on…and even if those knuckleheads did EXACTLY the same thing as you, same framing, same, lighting, it wouldn’t matter. You go it, most don’t. Too bad they don’t know that. As you say, it’s not the equipment.

  3. Thanks Frankie boy.

  4. Absolutely.

What is great about social media is that we all have access to the approrpiate tools; the wheat from the chaff is found through actual work and talent.

I teach many people how to do this stuff; its not brain surgery. But being able to PERFORM brain surgery is a different matter. That’s called talent, education, and skill.

  5. Apparently you cant frame either. Dead center in all your shots.

You might want to acquire some talent first before you complain about others.

  6. Well said. This is one reason I don’t do video.

  7. #4 I have to dumb it down for my audience. I save the third shit for special events.

  8. Links to said special events? I’d like to critique them ;)

  9. Black,

Only thing black guys know about movies is how to talk during them.

  10. Love this video. So sick of people showing me what camera they have then showing me their crap video work and lack of ability to speak on camera. And yet not realize the disconnect.

  11. Unsubscribe!

Hah, joke. I was one of those idiots who asked you about your equipment.

Not to be a jerk Loren, but how much editing is really in your videos? You add the 1938 tag on the front/back and trim the beginning end, but there’s no fancy “art” type editing, shooting, etc…

Sure, you do have the talent though.

Just saying man. Or weren’t you referring to yourself in those regards? Perhaps.

Your main point is taken though.

  12. Jimbo,

Yes you were, but wasnt meaning you specifically at all bro.

The reason there isn’t a lot of editing in my vids is because I don’t need it. I’m attractive, smart, and can perform in front of a camera. I’ don’t need special effects or editing. That’s the point, real talent doesn’t need bullshit effects. It’s window dressing and will not fool the audience into thinking the host is talented.

  13. I wish I had your talent, but alas, i’m more a marketer.

I wish I had talent like my buddy Kevin at http://www.kevincharnas.com. He should have a 1938 show. Funniest dude ever.
