If you’ve watched any of the Winter Olympics, you’ve likely seen a bizarre and disturbing AT&T commercial featuring snowboarding in space that uses Perfect Day ostensibly as feel good music in a ‘we can do anything with AT&T’ kind of message.  I don’t begrudge Lou making a few bucks and I’ll quickly forget this commercial so it’s hardly ruining anything for me but to hear a song that was spawned from a drug-addled pit of shame (mis)used like this makes me slightly more uneasy about advanced corporate capitalism.
