  6. I won’t be reading the book. I understand his point, and there might be something to it (certainly the Internet is disruptive, and not exclusively in a positive way), but I don’t buy the central premise of his argument.

    Instead of whining that the Internet has made it difficult to make money (if that’s even true), a better idea would be to come up with ideas to make the new system work. What’s the alternative? Go around smashing all the computers? Maybe he could get the Taliban to help with that.

  8. C’mon guys. We need people like Keen to upset the cart so that WE don’t become smug and condescending.

    I think he’s smart. What better way to generate some heat about his book than to pitch it on a show that has an internet-savvy following?

    He’s not bad-looking, either. Does anyone know if he has at least eight inches? And whether or not he’s uncircumcised, as so many English males are?

    I can’t go for the uncut look.
