Gonna have to disagree with you on this one Loren. The only time I’ve seen this woman before was doing an interview of Glenn Reynolds. At the time I poked through the rest of the material on her site and it was pretty sedate, so this is kind of a wacky departure from the stuff she usually does.
I don’t know what the dance is that she’s copying, but it’s sort of a clever idea shooting video of her dancing all over, and would you do that? I wouldn’t. Not to mention I’d fall over if I tried.
Plus: what have you got against bouncing boobies? I think the world would be a better place if we had more of them.
My only criticism is that there should be a HD version of it up on the site. Just because.

Yep Loren its horrible. I did not make it past the first 10 seconds. I started looking around for some open window with a video game I forgot to close. The video royally sucked.
Oh yea Jason’s Place rules!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well there you have it. This guy would rather watch a grown man in a diaper. Maybe you know your audience better than I do.

I really wish I could get those 30 seconds of my life back. I kept waiting for a disclaimer to pop up with the words - I am a very desperate attention seeker - but it never came.
At least she finally learned that no one cares about what she has to say.

Sexism rules!
By Amanda on Nov 26, 2006
You’re kidding right? Sexism is a fact of life. You are in Hollywood now sweetheart, grow up. No matter what Ari Gold might be telling you, it’s not a shoe in.
You got a bad review. So what. Crying sexism isn’t the answer.
Being original and cool and blowing people away is what you and your team need to be focusing on, not rehashing someone else’s material. That’s the answer. I want you to win kid.

Does that mean we don’t get the HD version?

OK. I went to Amanda’s site and followed the link back to Matt, the guy Loren says she ripped off.
The dance is different, the music is different, the whole vibe is much different. Loren I think you’re off-base with the criticism here, if I understand it right.
All joking aside, I enjoyed watching the video. It’s a lot easier to make snarky remarks than to come up with content.
By jvon on Nov 26, 2006
Jvon, it’s the same thing. Same schtick. Additionally;I come up with original material, and my snarky comments are content.
By Loren on Nov 26, 2006
Regardless how much I hated a woman. I would find it difficult to criticize bouncing tits. At least she knows what her true assets are.

Alright, alright, I take back the dig about the snarky comments. I enjoy a lot of your videos and I will admit that hearing your unhinged rant about Howard Stern is what got me hooked on this site in the first place.
But cmon. You don’t think she put a lot of work into that? And the dance itself, like a cartoon character who drank too much coffee, that’s kind of inspired. I even thought the weird-ass Japanese retro video game music (where did that come from?) was good.
The worst thing you can say about it is that it’s a gimmick to get publicity. Which it probably is. I say good for her.

Jvon, no need to ever take anything back. If I dish it, I got to be able to take it. I’m just saying I didn’t think it was very original, the tit thing is goofing around. She has a chance to do something great and copying another riff is not the thw way to do it, unless your Keith Richards copying Muddy Waters.
Big Roy, welcome. I like you already.

Dead on - as usual. BTW if it’s the real Amanda who left a comment crying ’sexism’, I even have less respect for her than I had in the first place (which was not a lot). It really goes to prove those attention seekers are demagogues of the worst kind.

Had never heard of this Amanda girl, had a look at her site, not that intriguing really, I got a sense of deja vu. So she has a couple of good points but then so do a billion others on this planet, it’s just not good enough, and those points, well they’ll become less poignant in time…
