Your purpose is to make your audience see what you saw, hear what you heard, feel what you felt. Relevant detail, couched in concrete, colorful language, is the best way to recreate the incident as it happened and to picture it for the audience.

I wanted to make it easy to contact me.
I generally prefer Filmmaker Magazine for its columns, not necessarily its interviews, because inside the columns is where the real nuggets lie. I’m glad I got to it last night because I was so fortunate to discover the likes of the supremely exquisite Zoe Keating. Zoe? Oh, she’s just a cellist and single-mom on a par with the great Yo Yo Ma. Ho hum… Zoe makes use of a laptop and a special pedal to make her brand of music sound *even better.* Her art will shake you to your very core. She strums gorgeous music which has no end and no beginning. |
